My Experiences With the Energy Body

"When I came to Christine Schenk I had completed six years of psychoanalysis. Today, after nearly one year, I have been through changes I wouldn’t have considered possible. First, there was a nearly imperceptible change in my way of dealing with time. Psychoanalysis had in no way improved my habit of being constantly late, nor my chronic state of being stressed and harassed. Today, after nine months of training, it has become increasingly easy to divide my time in a fruitful way. Pressures have started to reduce. I have always been interested in psychology, and the subject of time and space was one of the many aspects of analysis. As my training progressed, several associations and interactions between the analytical work and working with the Energy Body became more clear to me. The limitations of an analyst who is not aware of the Energy Body became evident. During analysis I had often felt I was floating up to the ceiling, my head would alternately become large and small. These experiences were interpreted in a useful way, but the real instruments for understanding this ”other part” had been lacking. Therefore, it was not possible to restore the fundament, that is, to bring both bodies together.

The analysis had already given me an insight into my being the ”doer and creator”. However, working with Christine Schenk complemented these efforts to a great extent. Today I feel I can better understand my own behavior and that of others, because I am able to literally feel encroachments - my own as well as those of others - upon my Energy Body. I realize when I start to step out of my own house to occupy another and I realize it - feel it - when somebody tries to occupy my house. I have obtained an instrument that protects me from such encroachments. At the same time, my ability to look at difficult situations soberly and clearly is increasing. However, this balance is still rather unstable. It’s still quite easy to upset me.

My idea of being the one who ”creates and designs my life” was also modified by working with Christine Schenk. I realized that one can only create one’s own field. By doing so, one’s way of looking at the world does change. However - contrary to some esoteric doctrines - the environment itself does not change. The notion of omnipotence was modified a little; today I am more and more able to recognize the autonomy of people around me and to live with it without feeling a compulsion to change others.

Working with Christine Schenk not only caused wonderful changes in my behavior and my life; she also gave me a gift - a new partner, a second person, me as an Energy Body."
